Our courses take place during the spring and autumn half-term breaks. The orchestral course usually lasts four to five days, culminating in a public concert.

Players work with professional tutors to develop strong, general musicianship skills and technical aspects of orchestral repertoire.

Along with the standard repertoire, the orchestra will work on collaborative projects. These include the Guildhall Young Artists, new compositions as well as a range of creative styles and production.

Participants will need a minimum of Grade 6 standard to successfully tackle the repertoire.

Bursaries are available for young musicians who need financial support, find more information here and apply here
